I like to bring an element of playfulness into my classes and hope everyone will enjoy yoga as much as I do. My intention is to make yoga accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
I graduated from Flow Academy in March 2017 with 200 hours RYT in Vinyasa Flow Yoga, and have also recently completed a 100 hours advanced teacher training with them which included Yin Yoga, Meditation, Restorative yoga and Lunar Vinyasa Flow. I currently teach in Newtownabbey and Belfast, offering both group and private yoga classes.
I first discovered yoga in my late teens, as a way to maintain flexibility and build strength. I was completely unaware back then what a profound effect yoga would have on my life. I practiced at home for many years before actually setting foot in a yoga studio. Under the guidance of some wonderful teachers, my practice changed completely. This fuelled my passion to share the remarkable benefits of yoga with others. I am a firm believer in the capacity of yoga to heal on both a physical and emotional level.
I am registered with Yoga Alliance UK and am an Accessible Yoga Ambassador.

“Heather's class is really relaxed and without the pressure to 'perform'. Yet they are challenging enough to test my own abilities, flexibility and strength. Wonderful classes and her method of teaching is brilliant"
"Very friendly atmosphere and good vibes. Heather has the quality of being able to encourage you even though you may not be able to achieve the full expression of a pose. She simplifies them for you so that you can achieve the pose to some degree - this alone makes such a difference"
"Heather is a fantastic yoga teacher. She is warm, speaks clearly, makes the class fun with a relaxed feel. She has helped me to learn to relax and to try to bring more peace, balance and mental awareness to myself"
"These yoga classes completely changed my perspective of yoga; they were fun and I left feeling both energised and relaxed. I also felt very motivated to practice at home and improve my own practice. Classes were completely pressure free, it was entirely up to me how much I wanted to push myself and what I wanted to get out of the session"
